Manufacturing solutions

First and foremost we are a sub-contract precision engineering company; we manufacture quality components to the customers’ requirements.

However if required or if we think it advantageous, we can advise on changes to aid production and productivity. This could be simply a design change to an existing part or a detailed solution to a production procedure to enable the most cost effective solution.

Design services

Whether working from customer sketches or drawings, to complete design solutions we can offer an in-house design service to take away the possible need for an external design house.

We can advise on initial decisions such as material choice, practicality and fit for function requirements, along with cost effective prototype and production realities, possibilities and solutions. Our designers have a vast experience in necessary tooling and fixtures to aid production.

Drawing / CAD transfer

Data can be submitted in a number of ways our preference for 2D is the DXF standard and for 3D files Parasolid. Below are a list of the formats we routinely work with

2D – DXF, DWG, SolidWorks, Pro-E & Paper

3D – Parasolid, Step, VDA, SolidWorks, Pro-E & Iges (non- preferred)

CNC Programming

We like to try and keep things as straight forward as possible. You provide us with a component and tell us how you want to manufacture it. We can help with this planning process if you would like us to, specifying cutters and fixtures if required. We then give you a fixed price quotation for all the programming work involved.

If our quote is accepted we will work with your production team to make sure we have a fully detailed project solution, then use our up to date CAM systems to produce a CNC program for each component as desired.
